At Ginkgo Acupuncture, Mary Jane Neumann, L.Ac. specializes in pain, women's health, and facial rejuvenation. Ginkgo Acupuncture was developed with the understanding that each patient is an individual, and that his or her health is intimately linked to diet, habits, emotional states, the environment and attitude.Treatments are tailored to each person, with their unique health needs in mind. This holistic approach is the foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and my commitment to my patients. It is my goal to work with patients to promote health, well being and longevity.
Mary Jane has a masters degree in Basic Medical Science from Wayne State University School of Medicine, and an MS in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture. Mary Jane has over ten years of clinical practice. She taught in the Biomedical Sciences department and the Oriental Medicine department at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine from 2010-2014.
In 2012, Mary Jane designed and patented HeadEase®, an acupressure device that is a drug-free alternative for head pain. HeadEase® can be used easily by anyone, at anytime, to reduce head pain, including headaches, toothaches, earaches and TMJ syndrome. It is a safe, natural, easy, effective, pill-free alternative for you and your whole family.
Mary Jane currently serves on the executive committee of The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park, and formerly served on the board of the Oak Park Arts District.
Ginkgo Acupuncture is located on the corner of Iowa and N. Kenilworth, in Hemingway's Boyhood Home.
