What is Speed Networking? Speed Networking is a fast-paced networking event during which you interact with 80+ other business owners from the Oak Park and River Forest communities in one hour. Attendees sit with 4-5 other people at an assigned table. Going around the table, each person has two minutes to introduce themselves, or give their “elevator pitch.” When the timer goes off, you move on to your next assigned table to meet 4-5 new people.

    This is a great opportunity to put yourself out there and meet local business owners in a focused and short way! You will be sitting with people from the community who want to meet and learn more about your business and what you do. What better way to make connections, increase your network, and get to know other people from this engaged business community!

    What to Expect? This event is fast and fun. Bring your genuine selves and present that to a supportive and open business community. We want to learn who you are, what is your business, your role in that business and how can you help others at your table.

    What is the Schedule?

    5:00pm - 5:15pm - arrival and registration
    5:15pm - 5:30pm - get seated and instructions
    5:30pm - 6:30pm - Power Hour of Speed Networking
    6:30pm - 7:00pm - casual networking

    What to What to Wear? Wear your work clothes, branded gear, or whatever represents you and your business best!

    How can I attend? This event will take place Tuesday, February 7th, 2024 at Concordia University. There will be light bites and drinks for you to enjoy before and after the networking. Registration for the event is NOW OPEN!
