About Us

After a number of years in a corporate environment, John yearned to have a more direct impact on people’s lives. John was introduced to this career by his own advisor. John found that Northwestern Mutual was the perfect fit. Soon after, he launched his financial planning practice.

Our goal is to meet you where you are today..and work together to provide clarity and cohesiveness in all aspects of your financial plan. Working with a client base of families and business owners like himself, John understands and values that there is more to life than work. The goal of his team is to take the time to build your optimal financial plan so that you have the time to build and enjoy your optimal life. 

John lives in River Forest with his wife Julie, and his daughters Maura and Lucy.  He loves to travel, and is currently 15 countries toward his goal of visiting 50 countries by the time he is 50 years old.  At night and on the weekends, you can find John and Julie cooking at home, rock climbing at Brooklyn Boulders, or volunteering for one of the organizations he is most passionate about: Chicago Jesuit Academy, the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund, or the Bloc Boxing Club at DRW College Prep.
