    Event Description:
Join us for this lunchtime seminar as we hear from experts on the best ways to market your products and services on-line.

This program is part of our regular bi-monthly Lunch&Learn seminars and is the fourth of the Chamber's Professional Development series.

    Elise Stein, Co-owner, Chuba Creative
Chris Shaw, Founder and CEO, Poaster
Michelle Magee Elfvin, contributor, Chicago Parent Magazine

This Lunch&Learn session will focus on helping any business that has a product or service get it right when they "strut their stuff" on-line. From best practice on how to use video (how long is too long?) to the most effective way of photographing people and products, we will delve into the practical side of taking photos, writing content and posting on web sites and social media platforms. We also welcome an app developer who will give us a behind-the-scenes look at what you need to know when posting your products and services on-line.

Our Lunch&Learn is a "brown bag" lecture series so please feel free to bring along your lunch to eat while you listen. Need lunch? Don't have time to make something? Don't want to schlep your leftovers? We have partnered with Starship in Forest Park (and just down the road from our venue) to help those who need a little lunch inspiration! $10 will get you a box lunch delivered right to the lecture. Check out this form for what you would like, then call (708-771-3016) or email (starship@starshiprestaurant.com) with your choices and method of payment. Your lunch will be waiting for you when you arrive! Please reference the Chamber Lunch&Learn series.

Elise Stein wears many hats at her and her husband's company, Chuba Creative. When not on camera as a spokesperson, Elise is working behind the scenes to get results for her clients and connecting new small and medium businesses with their video marketing goals. After hours she parents three amazing children and volunteers with MOPS of OPRF.

Presenter Chris Shaw is the Founder and CEO of Poaster, a new online tool and smart phone app for small business sales and marketing. Prior to founding Poaster, Chris was Chief Creative Visionary at Central Coast Agency, a Chicago based digital agency specializing in social branding and content. As the Social Branding AOR for NTT Communications, Chris has had a unique behind the scenes look at innovation across the Internet. The confluence of branding, technology and storytelling is the inspiration for Poaster.

Michelle Elfvin is a social media savvy mom of 3 boys. She is an award winning blogger at Chicago Parent, as well as a photographer and social media manager for over half a dozen local Oak Park and Forest Park businesses. With an eye for lifestyle, Michelle styles and photographs anything from food and fashion, to beauty and travel. You can see most of Michelle's visual work on instagram at @ChicagoMomGoesSuburban.
