Jazz in the Preserves
Let jazz and nature unravel the tensions of the week at Jazz in the Preserves, the second annual outdoor concert fundraiser of the Forest Preserve Foundation.
Right here in our back yard at Thatcher Woods Pavilion. Grab your blanket or lawn chairs and get ready to unwind.
Limited capacity so don’t wait to get tickets.
This year features the stunning jazz pianist and composer, Julius Tucker, connected to the Foundation by the Jazz Institute of Chicago. Julius, who will play with a trio, has solidified his reputation for masterful keyboard fluency, harmonic sophistication, and multifaceted musical voice. His compositions reflect a deep engagement with jazz tradition and contemporary innovation. And last year's audience enjoyed Lady Sax so much we booked this talented saxophonist and consummate entertainer again. She will be back captivating the audience with her soulful melodies and infectious energy.
Wouldn’t you love a relaxing evening that restores your energy while also making a difference? Get your tickets and join the Forest Preserve Foundation in supporting projects that remove invasive species and restore native habitats, make the Preserves more accessible for everyone, and nurture the next generation of environmental leaders. We’re lucky to have 70,000 acres of forest preserves. This treasured land could use your help more than ever right now. We restore nature. Nature restores us.
