How it Works
Bring your business cards and your "elevator pitch" and let us do the rest!
We will have tables set up and clear instructions on what to do for each timed networking segment. When the bell rings, you move to the next table! It's as easy as that! We guarantee (well...almost!!) that you won't meet the same person twice!
Once you have registered we will send you specific information about how to prepare and a few tips & tricks on how to make the most of a Speed Networking event. Don't worry - we have you covered.
Use the last half hour to connect with those you would like to make a stronger connection and enjoy the food and drinks provided by Concordia University.

The event is being held in the Christopher Center of Concordia University. I have attached a map of campus for your reference. The entrance to the parking lot is near the corner of Augusta St. & Monroe Ave.

Where to Park
Please park in Lot 1, indicated on the map below. You can also park in Lot 3.
Do not park in the lot directly in front of the building, as this lot is needed for the Early Childhood Center located in this building.
Arrival & Registration: 5 - 5:30pm
Speed Networking: 5:30 - 6:30pm
Socializing, Snacks & Drinks: 6:30 - 7pm
During the Speed Networking, each person has 2 minutes to speak. The first minute is the time for using that perfected elevator pitch
. The second minute, answer the question, "What does my business need?".
At the end of 12 minutes, you will hear a loud bell. This is the indication that you should move to the next table.
What to Bring
To keep the 2 minutes moving along, please add a 2-minute timer to your phone.
Make sure to bring your business cards! This is a great time to get in front of a lot of new people in a very short amount of time. Make sure you give them your business card so that they can reach out to you after the event and keep those connections going!
