  • Bite Nite + Foodie Fest 2018 Vendor Application

    FREE to participate. Spaces limited for Bite Nite on Friday 1/26, 5:30-9:30p @ The Nineteenth Century Club. Chamber provides following to all Bite Nite vendors: 2’ x 4’ showcase (shared) table, event table signage, a complimentary 1/8 page ad in 2018 Dining Guide (Chamber members receive upgrade to 1/4 ad), extensive online + offline marketing for both events.     Electrical outlets are limited (to not overload circuits) and require specific table placement. These spaces are available on a first-come basis. Do you need electrical for this event?
    My business will bring the following # of staff to work my table/serve at this event.
    Space is limited, maximum of 2 staff members per vendor, please.
    We will use menu descriptions to market your participation in event and ensure variety among vendors.
    2,500 copies of the 2018 Dining Guide will be distributed to Bite Nite attendees and area hotels/Visitor Centers. As a Bite Nite vendor, you receive a complimentary 1/8 page ad (Chamber members bonus upgrade to 1/4 page) in the guide. At the back of the guide, the Chamber will offer a coupon section. Tear-out coupons are sized 1/4 page, and cost $100/each.
    Foodie Fest is organized and marketed by the OPRF Chamber and is "Restaurant Week" for the Oak Park/River Forest/Forest Park area. It is FREE to participate. It is taking place Sat. 1/27 - Sat. 2/10, for the two weeks following Bite Nite. If you would like to join in Foodie Fest, please indicate which Prix Fixe menu option you plan to offer.
    Vendors who choose to participate in Foodie Fest will receive additional detailed communication about Foodie Fest involvement including branded menus, signage, staff training, etc.
    Don't know your menu yet? Don't worry, you have time. We need all menus finalized by Friday, January 12th. For menus submitted after this date, we cannot guarantee inclusion in free event marketing.
    50 vendors with 500 or more followers equal a HUGE auxiliary market for this event. As a vendor I agree to help promote my involvement in this event to my customer base via social media, website and/or email. The Chamber will provide marketing collateral to help make this easy.
    We will use your logo for your complimentary Dining Guide ad, event marketing + table signage.
    Before You Go - Recapping Vendor Responsibilities For Bite Nite
    Vendors: provide 400 2oz small bites +/or drinks served by 1-2 staff; arrive 4-4:30P for set-up; provide own sternos, utensils, napkins, plates, etc. to serve; bring one $25 gift certificate used for night-of event drawings; market your business @ Bite Nite - bring menus, coupons, handouts, etc. Dress-up your space and get creative to maximize branding.
