  • How to Prepare for Your Property Tax Assessment - IN PERSON

How to Prepare for Your Property Tax Assessment - IN PERSON

    Come Along & Learn

In 2023 properties will be reassessed between January and March, and at intervals throughout the entire year. This assessment forms the basis for how your property taxes are set and what you will have to pay.
    .

What can you do to make sure that the assessment of your property is accurate?

Learn how you can help the Assessor's Office be more accurate by providing more detailed information about your property or business by submitting a Real Property Income and Expense (RPIE) form. This gives the assessment team solid and factual base-line data from which to prepare your assessment.
    .

What if you lease your commercial space?

In situations where the lessee is responsible for paying the property taxes, they can provide the Assessor's Office with information that can help their property be assessed more accurately by telling them more about how income is generated by the property.

    Want to attend on-line?

We have you covered! We will host a similar seminar on-line on January 24, 2023. You can CLICK HERE to get more information and to register.
