We know that working for, and running, a non profit can be tough work! That's why we started this group - to help support the unique nature of running a non-profit business.
Join staff and board members of local organizations as we meet up to exchange ideas, learn about village updates, and share resources for nonprofit success.
The Non-Profit Affinity Group meets on the first Thursday of every month from 1 - 2 pm.
Sometimes we meet in person, sometimes on Zoom - check the Chamber calendar for details of each month's gathering!
If you'd like to get involved and receive regular updates on what the Non-Profit Affinity Group is up to, just send an email to Mark Walden (email@example.com) to get added to our mailing list.
Meet the Leaders
Meet our fabulous co-chairs!
Don't miss the chance to connect with nonprofit peers, and to brush up on your public speaking skills - useful in so many settings!
Come learn from Jerry "Hutch" Hutchinson, owner and designer at Hutchinson. Hutch is a longtime web designer, graphic designer, and consultant for nonprofit and for-profit clients, helping them get the most out of their web sites without spending excess amounts of time on them.
Affinity group co-chairs Cheryl Flinn of the Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest, and Judy Klem of the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory, will facilitate conversation among attendees about ways that local nonprofits can work together.
Our featured resource person for this meeting will be Shailushi Ritchie, founder and CEO of Sevah Consulting. Sevah Consulting is dedicated to serving nonprofits in transition and helping them thrive during periods of major change.
