The Symphony of Oak Park & River Forest pairs works by Schumann and Sibelius in its concert Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 4 pm at Concordia University’s Chapel in River Forest. The program begins with Mio Nakamura in Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A Minor and concludes with Jean Sibelius’s Symphony No. 1. The award-winning Symphony of Oak Park & River Forest is conducted by Jay Friedman. Tickets are $30 ($27 if ordered online by December 10), and students through college are admitted free of charge.
