Repair, Renovate, Restore! Treat yourself - and your old home - to expert contractors and advisors experienced in old home challenges Unity Temple Restoration Foundation (UTRF), in partnership with the Oak Park River Forest Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce their inaugural Vintage Home Show, April 24, 2021. The greater Chicagoland area lacks home shows specifically dedicated to vintage buildings; UTRF is solving this issue by assembling a wide array of expert vendors within one event, skilled in areas such as general construction, art glass repair, historic tile, wood flooring, research, finance, real estate and much more. This all-day event will be held virtually this year with break-out rooms serving as exhibitor booths, plus informational workshops that will cover topics such as researching historic buildings, hiring a project team, and financing a historic home, with presenters available for live audience Q&A. The event concludes with a virtual tour of Unity Temple.
