The Music Man, JR

Ovation Academy is thrilled to be bringing The Music Man, JR. to the Madison Street Theater stage October 7th, 8th, and 9th. Based on Meredith Willson’s six-time-Tony-Award-winning musical and recent revival, The Music Man, JR. is a Broadway classic featuring some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs. This witty romance is bold, brassy, and extraordinarily entertaining. It’s endless fun for the whole family!

The Music Man, JR. is directed by Ragan Hughes and assistant directed by Elliot DeMerit, with musical direction by Margot Frank and production assisted by Ellie Medina. The run consists of two casts. The Gold Cast features Fiona M., Lily H., Thomas H., and Emily I., while the Red Cast sees Charlotte M., Emme W., Eli V.G., Elliott M. playing the roles of Mrs. Paroo, Marian Paroo, Winthrop Paroo, and Harold Hill respectively.

The show is performed by kids aged 9-13 and the runtime is approximately 80 minutes with one intermission
