Class Levels: Beginners to Intermediate art lovers. Summer Series: CAMP 928, hosted by Oak Park?s Studio 928 Covers drawing, acrylic painting, watercolors, sculpting from recycled materials and mixed media art. Drawing for fun - students learn to create basic dimensional drawing and composition. Introduction to Acrylic Painting Students learn the uses of three essential art brushes, color theory, color mixing and create 2 acrylic paintings. Watercolors! - students learn the basics of the medium of the masters! Alebrijes/sculpting - students learn the history behind this fantastical Mexican culture artform. A fun and collaborative artistic adventure that turns the very things that pollute our environment into works of art. Mixed Media Painting - students learn how to bring dimension to their 2D creations. Mimic the Masters? - infused with Art History students recreate known masterpieces. Freestyle Art Days - We explore surrealism. Imaginations run amok, while revelations and passions emerge.
