Nonprofit Affinity Group / Disability Employment Awareness
The Chamber's Nonprofit Affinity Group gathers the first Thursday of most months (this month, second Tuesday!) to connect with each other and benefit from some professional development. We start at 12:30 with time to network, then have our presenter begin at 1 pm. We welcome you to join us!
This month: Disability Employment Awareness
This month is National Disability Employment Awareness month, recognizing work done to include people with disabilities in the workforce - a win-win effort for employers and employees. Our nonprofit meetup is part of the Chamber's participation in the month, with sponsorship of our programming from the Community Mental Health Board of Oak Park Township and collaboration from River Forest Township. Please join us to learn about local initiatives in this area, and how your organization might benefit!
