Holiday Open House

Saturday, Nov. 28, is Small Business Saturday and Oak Park River Forest Museum will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. that day.

Visit our gift shop to see local items for everyone on your holiday list – books by local authors, OPRF High School merchandise and more.
View our exhibits, see the holiday decorations and enjoy light refreshments.

Visitors can also check out the new addition to our 1898 Oak Park Landmark building, which features two additional restrooms, archival storage, and an elevator to make the space fully accessible to anyone with mobility challenges. And tour our reconfigured second floor multipurpose room, now available for community rentals!
