Chamber members - you have access to one of the last remaining community calendars! Our events calendar on the Chamber website gets over 150,000 hits a year from business people AND consumers looking for something to do!
We offer the calendar as a community service - anyone can post an event (pending staff's approval, once the event is submitted.) Community Members can easily submit an event by going to our website oprfchamber.org > view calendar (link on the left side of the screen) > submit new event (link on the right side of the green bar at the top of the event listing.)
However, Chamber Members can post a much more robust calendar entry, with photos, video, logos, fancy typeface, web links - the works! To post your event, login to the Member Information Center (MIC), click on Events and then Add Event. After you create your event, hit "submit" and the event will come to staff for approval. It usually takes us less than 24 hours to approve the event (excluding weekends).
You'll also be happy to know that seven days before your event, the calendar listing automatically posts to the Chamber's Facebook page and Twitter feed.
