Kristi graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in Business/Marketing and minor in Photography. Her background includes business and product development in the corporate sector and most recently marketing and communications in the nonprofit sector. Her first exposure to nonprofits was in 1996 when she had the opportunity to work for the Atlanta Olympics and Paralympics respective committees. Kristi’s passion for nonprofits has continued and she has had the opportunity to work for several amazing nonprofits in Oak Park, including Beyond Hunger, Oak Park Education Foundation, Park District of Oak Park and is currently the Director of Marketing at Wonder Works Children’s Museum. Kristi also serves on WSSRA’s foundation board and is an active volunteer with Pet Partners; where she and her therapy dog Broady have the opportunity to volunteer at various local businesses.
Kristi has lived in Oak Park for 18 years and is originally from St Louis, MO. In addition to remaining true to her hometown baseball team – the Cardinals – Kristi enjoys spending time with her family (husband, two daughters and two dogs) and supporting all of their activities. Her oldest daughter attends Worcester Polytechnic Institute where she is studying Engineering and plays field hockey. And her youngest daughter attends OPRF and is active in Best Buddies and runs cross country.
