Jonathan Biag is the co-owner of Escape Factor, an exciting escape room experience located at 7228 Madison St in Forest Park.
Jonathan was born in Oak Park, IL and was raised in Glen Ellyn, IL. After graduating from Glenbard South High School, Jonathan attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Here, he received his B.S. in Computer Engineering, graduating with top honors. Upon graduating in 1995, Jonathan moved to California to begin his career as a software engineer.
Jonathan spent the next 18 years living in different parts of the country. His time in Sacramento, CA saw him working for Intel Corp. and Pandesic, a startup e-commerce company. This was followed by 7 years in New York City, where he lived in Manhattan before moving to Brooklyn, NY and getting married to his wife Joanne. Jonathan and Joanne then moved to the Boston area, where they began raising a family in Somerville, MA.
In late 2013, the family of five finally relocated back to Oak Park, in part to allow his children to grow up with the children of Jonathan's younger brother, also an Oak Park resident. Upon discovering his love for puzzles and escape rooms in general, Jonathan realized that the Oak Park community would fully embrace this concept as a novel idea for families and friends. By bringing this experience to Oak Park (and later to Forest Park), participants would have an opportunity to test themselves with challenging puzzles in a manner that was both fun, interactive, and compelling. Jonathan is excited to bring this "puzzling experience" to local customers, which also gives him the opportunity to interact with the local community and participate in making his hometown a great place to raise his children.
