In preparation for the streetscaping project in 2020, the Prescott Group has been working with the Village of Oak Park, the Chamber and other business organizations in creating the website www.betterlakestreet.com in order to keep business owners and the general public, better informed on the status of the project.

The website will be populated with information about street closures, parking and other information.

Set to begin in the Spring of 2019, the Lake Street Streetscape project (pdf) is estimated to take over a year to complete. Below is the Construction Mitigation Program submitted to the Village of Oak Park by the Downtown Districts.
