MK Pritzker, First Lady of Illinois, on "A House that Made History"
MK Pritzker, the First Lady of Illinois, will speak at the Nineteenth Century on the history and restoration of the Illinois Governor's Mansion.
Working with acclaimed interior designer Michael S. Smith, MK has brought a carefully curated collection of fine art, crafts, and furniture to the Italianate–Greek Revival mansion, and has researched and documented the mansion's cultural history and changing architecture. Her book, A House that Made History: The Illinois Governors Mansion, Legacy of an Architectural Treasure will be on sale after the presentation.

Seating capacity is limited, so reservations are required, and available beginning on August 28: $30 for the program only, or $60 for lunch (at noon) and program. Please reserve tickets by September 12th (with lunch) or until September 26 (program only).
