    Oak Park and River Forest Chamber of Commerce to show off area’s culinary offerings at 6th Annual Bite Nite


    OAK PARK, IL -

    Get ready for the ultimate foodie party!  Try stellar offerings from Chicago area and local restaurants at the Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce’s sixth annual Bite Nite, happening at the 19th Century Club, 178 Forest Avenue, Oak Park, IL), on Friday, January 31st from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.


    Bite Nite offers a chance to sample small bites of everything from soup to chocolate, all created by local restaurant owners and caterers right here in the Oak Park area. With more than 50 different participating vendors, you’re sure to find new food favorites. While enjoying the food, there will also be live music, craft beer and wine for sale, and more.


    “As a long time business owner,” says Paul McKenna, owner of Starship Restaurant & Catering in Forest  Park and Bite Nite Co-chair, “I have realized the great potential the chambers of Forest Park and Oak Park-River Forest offer to small businesses by providing great opportunities like Bite Nite to work together to drive patrons to our businesses and communities.”


    Tickets are already on sale and space is limited.  Annually, over 500 people attend Bite Nite and it’s expected to sell out again. Individual tickets are $50, cash bar with the opportunity to purchase advance discounted drink tickets on the Chamber’s website.


    Co-chair Christine Barnard, Chief Advisor of What Now Advisors, says “Bite Nite has become a mid-winter celebratory tradition for Oak Park and its surrounding communities. In addition to restaurants, the event includes a number of industry vendors and sponsors.”  

    Erin Burrow, Business Manager for Oak Park Place Apartments, one of two Oak Park area properties owned by Lincoln Property Company, states, “Oak Park Place and Eleven33 are so excited to sponsor Bite Nite for the second year in a row. This event is so loved by not only us, but the entire Oak Park community. The food and atmosphere of the event are a great way to start the new year. We’re honored to be a part of such a close-knit community and have such a strong relationship with the Chamber.” 

    Any business in the food industry is welcome to participate in Bite Nite, regardless of Chamber membership status. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and open to all.
