News Release: Unique Times, Unique Solutions Individual & Family Connection is now offering outdoor therapy!
Unique Times, Unique Solutions Individual & Family Connection is now offering outdoor therapy!
We anticipate this to be a creative, safe solution to making in-person therapy possible during COVID19. It’s a wild idea, but these are wild times, so why not give it a try, right?!
- IFC will now be offering outdoor therapy to clients, at our newest location in River Forest!
- Outdoor therapy will be provided in our private parking lot, with individual and discrete “offices”
In these difficult times, we strive to balance both the safety of our staff and community, as well as the emotional needs of our young clients. To date, this has meant making the most of our online therapy sessions and finding creative ways to keep children connected.
This month, we will trial what we hope is a creative, safe solution to making in-person therapy possible during COVID19. Starting this week, we will be offering outdoor therapy sessions at our new River Forest location! We will be providing safe, private, and confidential outdoor spaces for each therapist and client. Each therapeutic space will be properly distanced to ensure privacy and confidentiality and will be thoroughly sanitized after each session in accordance with CDC guidelines.
Now more than ever, our clients and their families need extra support, and we hope this creative, in person solution will provide that needed, human connection.
