We invite you to participate in our Shopping Event at Ten Thousand Villages in Oak Park which will be from Tuesday, June 20 – Saturday, June 24, 2017. For those five days your organization will receive 15% of the sales from customers who tell us they are shopping for your cause.
As a nonprofit organization ourselves, we understand the giving situation as well as how members value a fun, easy way to support your cause. Shoppers appreciate that purchases at Ten Thousand Villages support women, children’s education and employment opportunities for disadvantaged artisans in our world.
You’ll want to promote the event to your congregations and friends in your newsletter and services. Post it on your website or other community sites. Send emails and reminders and make some phone calls, because the more people who shop, the more money you’ll make. Ten Thousand Villages will publicize this event on our website and on Facebook, as well.
