Celebrate Beethoven with the Symphony of Oak Park & River Forest
The Symphony of Oak Park & River Forest opens its 90th season with an all-Beethoven program on Sunday, October 24, at 4 p.m. at Concordia University’s Chapel in River Forest. The Chapel is located just west of the parking structure at Bonnie Brae and Thomas (approximately 1124 Bonnie Brae). Music Director Jay Friedman will conduct pianist Mio Nakamura in Concerto No. 4, and the program also includes Symphony No. 6 “Pastoral.” A pre-concert conversation with Board President David Leehey begins at 3 p.m. The orchestra is also celebrating Maestro Friedman’s 25th season as Music Director at this performance and Beethoven’s 250th birthday.

In-person tickets are $27 when ordered online, or $30 at the door. Tickets for the virtual performance are $15. Subscriptions for in-person attendance for the entire season are $90 (in honor of the 90th season) ordered online or $100 at the door. Virtual subscriptions are $50. Future dates are December 12, February 6, and March 27. All in-person attendees must show proof of COVID vaccination and wear a mask while indoors.
