During her more than 25 years of practice as a lawyer\, Kathie Henn has worked on employment law matters. \; She started as a staff attorney for the Illinois Department of Human Rights\, then worked as an associate and equity shareholder at a Chicago law firm representing local governmental entities\, and\, most recently\, as in-house counsel for a non-profit system of colleges and universities. In 2025\, she started her own law practice that is focused on employment law issues for businesses and nonprofits. \;
