DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Thursday\, May 7th at 8:30 AM for breakfast with the Brennan School of Business at Dominican University. Brennan School faculty and staff will share information on research\, programs\, and resources available through the University to local small business owners and their employees. Topics will include an introduction to resources available through Dominican University's new Center for Entrepreneurship Diversity and Education\, information on working with talented (and affordable) business and marketing interns\, learnings from a recent local small business survey\, and curated AI tools for small businesses.\n\n\n\nFor more than 60 years\, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has celebrated National Small Business Week (NSBW)\, which acknowledges the critical contributions of America's entrepreneurs and small business owners. National Small Business Week 2026 will take place May 3-9\, and SBA will officially recognize their hard work\, ingenuity\, dedication\, and their contributions to the economy. \n\n\n\nThis National Small Business Week program is presented by the Village of Oak Park Office of Economic Vitality\, in partnership with Dominican University Brennan School of Business and the Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is FREE.  Registration is required to help us plan capacity.\n\n\n\nThis event will be held in Dominican University's Springer Suites in the Rebecca Crown Library.  Please park in the outside parking area\, West lot (adjacent to the soccer fields).  You will enter via the Rebecca Crown Library ramp.  Upon entering\, you will see Springer Suites on the right\, across from the Cyber Cafe.
