DESCRIPTION:Come join our nonprofit affinity group for camaraderie and professional development!  We meet the first Thursday of each month from 1-2 pm.  This month:\n\n\n\nManaging Board and Staff Transitions\n\n \n\nDuring this session\, led by Shailushi Ritchie of Sevah Consulting\, we will talk about managing the inevitable: turnover among staff and board members. Shailushi focuses her work on providing interim executive leadership services to organizations in transition\, often incorporating aspects of strategic and operational planning\, governance\, board training\, and change management. She has served as Interim Executive Director for several Chicago and national organizations and helped organizations maintain stability and structure for nonprofits during a significant transition.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will meet at the Nineteenth Century Club\; parking is available at the Village parking garage to the south.  The Nineteenth Century parking lot is not available for this event.
