DESCRIPTION:The Chamber's Nonprofit Affinity Group gathers the first Thursday of most months to connect with each other and benefit from some professional development.  This month we'll start at 12:30 pm with informal social time\, then have our presenter begin at 1 pm.  We welcome you to join us!  \n\n\n\nWHO IS OUR PRESENTER?\n\n\n\nOur presenter will be attorney Julianne Piotrowski\, speaking on Bylaws: When to Review\, Revise\, Rewrite or Amend.  Julianne is founder and principal of Nonprofit Legal Services\, where serves our not-for-profit community drawing on not just her legal training and experience\, but her many years immersed in the nonprofit sector with the Infant Welfare Society\, St. Giles School\, and Wonder Works Children's Museum\, including leading Wonder Works through the pandemic as Board President with responsibility for operations in the absence of an executive director.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCome join our friendly group and learn how to assess and update the documents governing your organization!\n\n\n\nAnd this month we'll be meeting in the warm\, beautiful\, foliage-filled setting of the Oak Park Conservatory!  Escape to this natural refuge during the cold days of winter\, and leave yourself time to bask in the indoor gardens while you're here!  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStreet parking is available on Garfield and adjoining side streets.
