DESCRIPTION:Firefighters are known for their cooking prowess and you can judge for yourself when the Oak Park Fire Department challenges the River Forest Fire Department to a Chili Cook-off at 5 p.m. Thursday\, Dec. 5\, at Oak Park River Forest Museum.\n\n\n\nCome sample both chilies (with all the chili toppings) and vote for your favorite. We'll also be serving cornbread\, soft drinks\, apple cider and dessert. Admission is a suggested donation of $10 with proceeds being split with the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance which serves burn victims.\n\n\n\nReservations required by Nov. 30 by visiting oprfmuseum.org or calling 708-848-6755.\n\n\n\nAlso\, we will be drawing the winners of a Radio Flyer scooter and wagon during the Chili Cook-Off. To enter\, find all of the LEGO Minifigures in our Hometown Legends Scavenger. You still have time to enter the drawing by visiting the museum during regular hours and searching for the Minifigures among our exhibits.
