SUMMARY:Design / Construction / Real Estate Planning Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Matt Johnston and Karen Gaimari are the current co-Chairs of the DCRE Affinity Group. They are excited to kick start the group and are in the planning stages of a number of projects for the upcoming year.\n\n\n\nThe first is a Design/Construction/Home Expo which would showcase local businesses. This would be a fundraiser and hopefully the beginnings of an annual event!\n\n\n\nThey are reaching out to the Design/Construction/ & Real Estate group to see who would be interested in an active participation role to make this and future events possible. They are also looking for feedback from the group in regards to what folks want to focus on moving forward.  \n\nOak Park/River Forest has a long history of architecture and an unmatched sense of community. They are looking to bring the two together and\, as a group\, make a difference by partnering with a TBD organization to give back!\n\nWe are meeting at the Yonan Store on North Ave Thursday September 14th at 5:30 to discuss all the above and see who might want to take a more active role in the group. The talent and expertise in this community is truly remarkable. This is an opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas to make a difference in the programming produced. Please RSVP and join us!
