    Chamber’s notes from the meeting:

    • At the request of the Board, and in particular Trustee Dan Moroney, the Plan Commission is considering whether or not to add a “design guideline overlay” to the current zoning requirements government rehabs, additions and tear-downs of single family homes.

    • Key areas of focus are: height and massing, context / compatibility with surrounding homes, and materials.

    • Design guidelines from other communities were reviewed as possible models for how to proceed.

    • Chamber representative left after one hour of deliberation.  No indication of how the commission was leaning, except that they generally did not want to be too “heavy-handed.”
