West Suburban Special Recreation
Association

Year-round recreational programs for individuals of all ages with
disabilities are provided by the West Suburban Special Recreation
Association, a cooperative of the Park District of Oak Park and nine
other neighboring communities. Persons of all ages with special
needs can enjoy programs led by specially trained staff.
Participants include those with developmental disabilities, hearing or
vision loss and those who have autism, mental illness, behavior an
learning difficulties. WSSRA also serves the special interests
of adults who have physical limitations from strokes, multiple
sclerosis or conditions that impair mobility. |

boards and a diving towel with five, seven and ten meter platforms. A
50-meter zero edge pool with spray-play apparatus, a separate
