There are many reasons businesses join the Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce. Whether you’re a home-based business or a large company with over 100 employees, the OPRF Chamber of Commerce is hard at work providing the programs, services and information you need to enhance your profitability. INCREASE YOUR CUSTOMER BASE

Membership in the Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce provides you with a variety of ways to make new customer contacts and attract more business:

• Network with over a hundred other fellow members at Business After Hours, held on the second Tuesday of every month.
• Receive two free listings in our Community Guide (published by Pioneer Press and distributed to over 35,000 Oak Park-River Forest businesses and residents) and on our web site.
• Benefit from member referrals when the Chamber is contacted for products and services.
• The Chamber website offers additional opportunities to increase the visibility of your business.
• Market directly to the membership by purchasing Chamber membership mailing labels for only $50.00.

NETWORKING & EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

The Oak Park - River Forest Chamber of Commerce provides Networking and Educational programs for members including:

• Business-After-Hours: Once a month on the second Tuesday of each month, there is a Networking event including food and beverages.  There is no charge to members!
• BRAG's: Once a quarter, come and tell other chamber members about your business and/or service. The way it works is: each participant will be seated at a table of 5 to 8 people and will select a Table Captain.  Each table member will be given one minute to advertise their business and/or product.  After everyone at the table has had their minute to talk, the Captain will, by process of a raffle (using Business Cards) select one person from the table to speak in front of the entire group.  The LUCKY individual will get two minutes to advertise their business or product.
• Educational Workshops: Stay informed about issues that effect your business with the Chamber's Educational Workshops on a variety of subjects.  Presenters are Chamber members.  There is a nominal, discounted, charge for attendees.

BE HEARD!

The Chamber serves as the unified business voice of Oak Park and River Forest, representing your business interests at the government level.  Through the Business Advocacy Committee,  we speak and support specific issues affecting business in Oak Park-River Forest and beyond.
