Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things a One Earth Film Festival S
How might your life be better with less? Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things examines the many flavors of minimalism by taking the audience inside the lives of minimalists from all walks of life—families, entrepreneurs, architects, artists, journalists, scientists, and even a former Wall Street broker—all of whom are striving to live a meaningful life with less. Arrive early to purchase refreshments. Engage in post-film discussion about what minimalism and minimizing could look like. Learn about related, concrete actions from local groups, including the Sugar Beet Food Coop (growing the good food movement), Joe O'Krepky of Edward Jones' Socially Responsible Investments funds (investing in the things you really care about). Older children + teens encouraged to attend! Schedule subject to change. Check website for current info on this & more than 45 other film events. Most screenings are free with $6 suggested donation.
