A Small Good Thing a One Earth Film Festival Screening event
See the Chicago-area premiere of A Small Good Thing! The film tells the stories of six people moving away from a philosophy of "more is better" toward a more holistic conception of well-being - one based on a close connection to themselves, their families, the natural world, and to the greater good. These stories are deepened by some of our most visionary thinkers, including: Bill McKibben, author on climate change; Jeremy Rifkin on the future of energy; Stephen Cope, director of the Institute for Extraordinary Living at Kripalu; Dacher Keltner, positive psychology researcher; and Kristin Neff, a leading expert on self-compassion. Join us for a rich discussion after the film. Snacks prepared and presented by young chefs from Sugar Beet Schoolhouse’s cooking classes. Sugar Beet Food Coop will also share information and actions we can take. Schedule subject to change. Check website for current info on this & more than 45 other film events. Most screenings are free with $6 suggested donation. Secure your seat! Reserve tickets at: oneearthfilmfest.org
