Bio:

Karen has 12 years of experience in the Party Tent Rental Arena.  She has grown the Affordable Backyard Tent business since its inception in 2003 and has been hands on in all aspects of sales and marketing.  Karen has been a driving force in brand recognition through her work with the local Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce and currently sits on their Board.  Karen has also parlayed bartering and donation of equipment in conjunction with her being a Trustee on the Foundation Board for West Suburban Special Recreation as well as a long time member of the fundraising committee for Oak Leyden Developmental Services.  She has gotten ABT's name out into the community through website creation and improvements, advertising campaigns and networking.  Affordable Backyard Tents is a proud  supplier for Downtown Oak Park for Thursday Nights out as well as the Village of Oak Park's Earthfest.

Karen has a B.A. in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University

Karen has extensive Staffing and customer service experience during her 8+ years with Paradigm Technology. She has 23 years of total sales and services experience including her previous role at The Beco Group. In her roles she has been responsible for developing new business as well as maintaining and growing existing customers. Karen is constantly establishing a more thorough client database for the Chicago office and developing an aggressive sales program for new sales representatives.
